These Terms of Use govern your use of the Fish Receipt mobile app, website, and related services provided by Fish Receipt, Inc. (“Fish Receipt,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By using Fish Receipt, you agree to these Terms.
What Fish Receipt does
Fish Receipt helps users organize warehouse receipts and identify potential price-adjustment opportunities based on recent purchase information and available price evidence. Fish Receipt may calculate a potential adjustment amount and provide information intended to help you decide whether to request an adjustment from the retailer.
Independent service
The Fish Receipt service is independently operated by Fish Receipt, Inc. and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or operated by Costco Wholesale Corporation. Costco® and related marks are the property of Costco Wholesale Corporation.
No guaranteed refund or adjustment
Fish Receipt does not issue Costco price adjustments and cannot guarantee that any retailer will approve a request. Retailer policies, exclusions, timing rules, inventory, warehouse-specific pricing, employee decisions, and other circumstances may affect eligibility. The retailer makes the final decision on any adjustment or refund.
Your responsibility for submissions
You are responsible for the receipts, images, corrections, and other information you submit. Please submit only information you are authorized to provide. You agree not to intentionally submit false, fraudulent, unlawful, or misleading information or use Fish Receipt to interfere with the service or other users.
Accounts
You are responsible for maintaining access to your sign-in account and for activity associated with your Fish Receipt account. You may delete your account from the app through Profile → Delete Account. Account deletion is subject to the data-handling process described in our Privacy Policy.
Free launch service
Fish Receipt 1.0 is currently offered without a subscription or in-app purchase. We may introduce optional paid features in the future. If we do, applicable pricing and terms will be presented before you purchase them.
Availability and changes
We may change, suspend, limit, or discontinue features when reasonably necessary for security, reliability, legal compliance, retailer-policy changes, or product development. We may also update these Terms from time to time.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse Fish Receipt, attempt unauthorized access, circumvent security controls, submit malicious content, abuse third-party services through Fish Receipt, or use the service in a way that violates applicable law or the rights of others.
Disclaimers
Fish Receipt is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. We do not warrant that receipt extraction, price information, alerts, availability information, or potential-adjustment calculations will always be complete, current, uninterrupted, or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Fish Receipt, Inc. will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including missed or denied price adjustments. Nothing in these Terms limits rights or remedies that cannot legally be limited.
Termination
You may stop using Fish Receipt at any time. We may suspend or terminate access when reasonably necessary to protect users, the service, third parties, or legal compliance, including in cases of fraud, abuse, or material violation of these Terms.
